Greetings.

I have three cats of my own and a few weeks ago, took in forth cat for a friend on a temporary basis. My friend works at a vet clinic in Salado; the cat came in because the owners were moving to Iraq to work in the oil fields on a permanent basis and couldn't take her with them. They were apparently the only people the cat has ever known.

The cats name is "Kali" and is pictured below.

She is a 9-year old, de-clawed female Calico. She is spayed and extremely healthy. She is on the petite side and LOVES people. She likes to get in laps and will gently touch your face with a paw to get your attention. Lots of "silent meows" (cats saying "I love you"). Whoever her original people were, they gave her a lot of love and attention.

I wish I could keep her permanently but between three cats and a dog I have enough mouths to feed (and vet bills) and I would really like to find this cat a home, ASAP.

She is free to any home where she will be looked after and loved. Seeing as how the original owners had her de-clawed (a procedure I would NOT do to any cat I own), she should ALWAYS stay indoors and should never be let out. She makes a very nice house cat, knows all about the litter box and is very neat and clean.

Please PM or reply if interested. The cat is located in Jarrell, Texas (in the Austin, Georgetown, Salado, Temple, etc. area).

Thanks for reading and please forward this info to anybody who might be interested.
