Good Morning!

I can't believe it's already been 9 years since 9/11. In light of that, here's today's question:

Do you believe the government's official statement of what happened, or do you think there's more to it?

I think the government is hiding something. It seems to me that whenever something of this magnitude happens, The government only tells the people what they need to know. The truth only comes out years later.

I don't believe its a giant government conspiracy like many of my coworkers do, but I do think there is more that we don't know about yet and wont know for some time.

I watched United 93 on Monday, was definitely sad to watch. I lived 40 miles from NYC when 9/11 happened, and many classmates had parents who worked in NYC. My uncle was on a boat in the river working when it happened. I could always see the skyline from my grandma's house, and for a week or more, it was a giant black cloud covering the area. I still look at the skyline now from her house, and it still saddens me every time.

Most governments hide things, especially with something of this magnitude. I lost an acquaintance that day, a Saskatchewan born hocky player, Garnet Bailey; he was on United 175

I think they probably knew there was more of a threat of terrorism than what the public knew about. They would have to cover that up to keep from having mass hysteria.

That's exactly how I feel as well. I'm actually watching the History channel's 9/11 coverage right now about the different conspiracies.

I don't think there is some big conspiracy. I feel the government may know more than they told us, but not what the conspiracy nuts are spewing out.

I think if the people knew everything the government knows, it would result in mass hysteria and panic.

I think that if you are willing to suggest there is more then what has been suggested, you need to give links supporting otherwise, or other sources of information supporting your suggestions.

I think that Bush was too self-occupied so as to ignore the warning signals and then hid in higher ground. FDNY was not so fortunate.
