Coco Feb/March1992-9/10/10

Today I think Coco threw another blood clot or had another stroke.
She tried so hard to live and was given 5 months to live in Jan/Feb 2009.
She beat the odds then I was hoping she would have another chance.
When I got new kittens she would accept them and let them nurse on her as if they were hers.
I took Stormys ashes and had them placed in her casket.
I did everything for her and even took her to cat shows and left her in the hotel room.
I would go to the room and give her meds between rings and when there was a break.
She was my favorite cat and there can never be another like her.

Jacky,
Someone else said before Coco was lucky to be your kitty... I couldn't agree more. Nobody could have loved her more than you did... But you too were very lucky to share your life with her for almost 19years... what a wonderful gift you were given Jacky... Treasure her memory, as she will always be with you, in your mind, in your dreams, in your heart, in you soul
She is your Angel now

Trish posted something so beautiful on FB... I thought about sharing here:

The Last Battle

If it should be that I grow frail and weak

...And pain should keep me from my sleep,

Then will you do what must be done,

For this -- the last battle -- can't be won.

You will be sad I understand,

But don't let grief then stay your hand,

For on this day, more than the rest,

Your love and friendship must stand the test.

We have had so many happy years,

You wouldn't want me to suffer so.

When the time comes, please, let me go.

Take me to where to my needs they'll tend,

Only, stay with me till the end

And hold me firm and speak to me

Until my eyes no longer see.

I know in time you will agree

It is a kindness you do to me.

Although my tail its last has waved,

From pain and suffering I have been saved.

Don't grieve that it must be you

Who has to decide this thing to do;

We've been so close -- we two -- these years,

Don't let your heart hold any tears.

I'm so sorry for your loss of your precious Coco. She's a part of your soul that will be with your Always. She has many friends at the Bridge to play and purr with now--my Bella is one of them.

Oh my, I am so so sorry for your loss of Coco. In looking at her picture, she is much like my Max, my soulcat. Those black and white tuxedos are the most special cats in the world. What a blessed cat she was to have someone who loved her like you did. In time may your memories be sweet. One thing is for sure. You did everything that you could for her every minute that she was your cat. Hugs, Jacky. Our hearts are breaking for you.

I am so saddened to read this and so sad for your loss. So glad that Coco had you to love her and fight for her. Know that she's resting peacefully now and in no more pain, running and frolicking freely.

Your love for Coco has no boundries and she will always be in your heart. You have done so much for Coco and I am sure she will never forgot the love you gave her. You will always wish you could have had more time with your baby when their time is up. I lost my Claude kitty to a stroke too and he was 15. I was in tears when I read your post about Coco having a stroke since I know how awful it is to see your baby suffering and you are helpless to fix things. It hit a little to close to home for me intially when I first saw your post and that is why it has taken me so long to say anything. Hugs to you in this difficult time.

Sending you my deepest condolences on losing your precious Coco. She's over RB now, with Joey and our other TCS kitties - playing happily with the angels until we get reunited
I know how hard it is to lose your heart's kitty. I'm going thru a very painful breakup and I miss my dear Joey more than ever - how I will muster on without him, seems so impossible now...But I am here with you in thought and spirit, during your dark days of this sad loss
