Does anyone who has outside cats treat their yard for fleas. We have had a worse than usual problem this year. My cats get frontline every month, but I still see them scratching and I get bites too. We have never treated the yard before as we are very hesitant to do that with the cats living out there. Any suggestions.

I found the text in this book spot on, but the illustrations aren't helpful at all. Good over all book

This mat caught my eye because of its size and texture, which traps fine litter rather well. It's large enough for jumbo litterboxes, which is also a plus. It's not quite as easy to clean as a...

This scoop was a freebie with some clumping litter I bought last year, and I like it so much that I've bought a second one. It's perfect for fine clumping litter, which it sifts very thoroughly....

If you want to go organic, which is safest for humans and kitties and doesn't use chemicals, spray beneficial nematodes on your yard. Not only will they take care of the fleas, they'll also take care of snails/slugs, ticks, roaches, and other soil-borne pests. Check your local organic garden centers and feed stores. If you can't find them, check online at Arbico Organics or Gardens Alive.

I found EcoSmart to treat my yard. It seems to be working pretty well and it is pet and human safe. I am not sure where you are from but it can be found many places. It kind of smells like roses after you spray. I hope it helps.
Good luck!

We apply beneficial nematodes to our yard semi-annually. I only wish they helped decrease the mosquito population! {uyjh <-- Tumbles' typing} Anyway, we get our nematodes from the local organic feed store and they are the Antidote variety. We've purchased some to fight termites from Arbico and they really did work!
