Moooooooooorning folks!

Welp, we both got paid today and for DH it was his first paycheck at his residency

He makes more than me already!

I'm pretty happy because he said when he got his first paycheck, I could get a pedicure

Off to work in a bit, and then tonight to a friends house for some games.

My last morning at work because i'm off on a cruise around the Med next week. I'm all up to date at the office so i just need to tidy up my desk

Everythings packed, so i just have my housework to do at the weekend

Morning everyone. Today is the start of my frustrating irritating weekend. We got word that some idiot made a minor boo-boo when puttng the top and bottom half of the engine back together...stupid pulley. GRRR well we obviously are still getting the car however now we have to wait till Sunday OR possibly Wed and thats the good part worst part is we may have to wait till the end of next week till they all get back from bike week. Grrrr seriously what else is going to have my patience at its wits end. Oh yeah thats right Max decided that he was going to try and eat my shoe today..not the 10 million other times he carried them around for fun. Oh well easy fix though.

BF thinks that the engine will get fixed either today or this weekend so the guy has the extra $$ for Florida so thats atleast good. Fingers crossed!!

Today DH is having a tonsillectomy. Which means I had to get up waaaaaaay too early to take him to the hospital and now we wait. After the surgery we can expect 2 weeks or more of no talking, liquid diet, and pain medicine! Let the caretaking begin! (And I'm already sleepy!)

I showered, dressed, had breakfast and checked on Molly & McGee and their owlets! All is well in their world

Busy day for me today. One of the girls is away at a conference and I'm covering her assignment plus my own. Luckily my doctor is away today for the Jewish New Year, because her assignment is wild! Plus there is a staff meeting today.

My knee is so sore today! I did way too much walking yesterday. I had my electric blanket on all night, but it didn't help much.

Tomorrow I go pick up my new ring!!

Plus I decided to get a manicure. It will mostly be a polish because I do a pretty mean manicure myself, and I just gave myself one on Tuesday.

Anyway, have to go. Need to take my trash out before my ride comes.

Morning!

Going to be a busy weekend. My niece is coming home to get work done on a tattoo; she asked if she could come for dinner on Saturday and if we could do grilled pizza again. Why sure! While she's having the work done, my sister (her mom) and I are going out to do a bit of shopping.

On Sunday, my sister and I are going to have lunch with our aunt at the nursing facility. They're doing some kind of picnic and we didn't want her to be alone.

Other than that, housework, yard work, laundry and shopping.

Pedicures, manicures... I'm so envious girls!

Tonight is the home opener for the Saint John Sea Dogs regular season hockey! Can't WAIT!

Then tomorrow morning we are helping out at a yard sale to raise money for Cat Rescue Maritimes. Tomorrow evening is another hockey game, woot!

Good evening

Got off work a little later than I'd like on Fridays - usually I'd be out by 2:30-3pm, didn't leave til 5:15, ew. Now cuddled with my Nero, who's kneading my Slanket like there's nothing else in the world. Waiting for hubby to come home with some pineapple juice so I can get myself a tasty little drink going

Plan to relax tomorrow, MAYBE vacuum the car out, since I've been saying that for about a month. Sunday I have a test and a quiz due for my classes, and then will probably be taking the Stang to the track with 93 octane gas and some drag radials to see how it runs. I cant do a real burnout for my life it seems, but it could be nerves that the neighbors will get mad
