Wow. Being home in Minneapolis with Mom and not having computer access is always refreshing, in a way, (I tend to get addicted to my computer), but i sure did miss TCS!
And I can't believe how much I missed my Larry! I think about him all the time while I'm gone. He has good care - my neighbor is so good about coming in, feeding, making sure the litterbox is cleaned out of poop and pee lumps. But she never sees him. He runs for the closet or under the blanket, and the only way she knows he's around is that she sees that he's eaten the food.
So, yesterday morning, I walked in and checked under the big pile of blankets and pillows - no Larry. I went to the closet, and there he was - he had made a little cubbyhole for himself between some suitcases. He gave a little "meow" and I left him alone. Then I kept walking around, talking to him as I went through my mail and unpacked and checked my e-mail. It only took him an hour this time! And there he was, slinking out of the closet, checking to see if "that other person" was around. And since then, he's been at my feet, purring, wanting to be picked up, cuddling, staring, rubbing on me. I love these homecomings! He's cuddly with me, normally, but he's going overboard right now!
