Home-made cat food

After reading an article about the disgusting ingredients that pet food companies are putting into commercial pet food (by-products, meat and bone meal, etc.), I have decided that I want to start making my cats natural, home-made food. If anyone has any recipes for pet food that are well balanced, please share them. My little kitties deserve the best!

I don't have any recipes for you but there is a book you can buy called "Home Prepared Dog and Cat Diets" by Strombeck that is loaded with balanced recipes for cats and kittens.

I would just caution you to be careful with homemade foods. Make sure that what you are preparing has everything cats need for their health. There are excellent books out there that cover this subject.
