Kittens and Wet Kitten Food

So I went to my neighbors house to give her mother cat some wet kitten food. Now the kittens are 2 weeks and 2 days old and I had a little bit of the wet food on my finger and the kitten started to lick it. And Also when i took it out of the can the kittens started to crawl towards the smell.

Is it bad for them to eat (it was just wetness from the food, I wasn't feeding it to them) wet kitten food so early?

Wow, Sonja's kittens started eating solids at 3 wekks, but 2 weeks is really young. They probably aren't ready for it yet, they may not be able to digest it properly. I don't think there's any harm in letting them lick the juice off your fingers, though. I wonder if they want the canned food because they're hungry....maybe she doesn't have enough milk. Do they look fat and healthy?

Well...we have been having an issue with our neighbor...She is like hardly home and the other day the mom got outside god knows for how long and i found her at like 530 in the morning. I checked over the kittens and they didnt have big bellies but they look pretty healthy...When i went into the house earlier there was like no food or water So i went and got food from my house and gave them food and water and PLUS they have another adult cat...so i dont only have to worry about the mother but also the other one.

Then i went over my gradmothers and my aunt had some wet kitten food that her cat didnt like so she gave it to me and i was like "Hmmm I could give this to Lilly" And when i gave it to her she was RAVENOUS!

I would do this for any animal but especially because I am taking one of these kittens!
