Back to school days and my question is:

What was or is your favorite and least favorite subject in school.

My least favorite was math and to be honest, I didnâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]t have a favorite. I was one of those who hated school and couldnâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]t wait for the school day to be over.

My favorite was music. If you're any sort of musician it's impossible to get less than 95% in that class
. My least favorite was English. I just don't see the point of reading at least one Shakespearean play every year. Grade 11 was the worst. We read Hamlet, A Midsummer Night's Dream, and Romeo & Juliet in the same semester

So many to choose from but History and the industrial revolution was pretty mind numbing

Hated math, was good at it but it was mind-numbing.......oddly, I loved physics and chemistry. Only thing lower on the hate scale than math was French but everything else was good.

I loved all the English/Reading/Language Arts classes. Never cared for history as it was sooooooo "boring" and full of dates and people that were dead. I wish I'd have paid better attention now, though.

Favorite subjects:
Chorous II
Concert Chorale
Any class with Mrs. Stone (which would be English type classes)
Theatre Arts

Least Favorite:
Pre-algebra
Algebra I was barely better because of the teacher but worse because of the content. I'm just not good at the cerebral maths.

I really didn't have a favorite subject in school and I liked school, even grad school. But I do know my least favorite subject was cost and managerial accounting in grad school. I had a professor who hated me. Seriously, he used to hold "office hours" on Fridays in the downstairs room of the bar/restaurant where I worked. I would have to wait on him and his students who were my classmates which were all men and lousy tippers. He looked down on me.

Anyway, I was lousy at cost accounting. He made my life miserable in class. But the managerial side? No problem. I think he hated me more because I was good at it.

I couldn't stand history, not because I was bored by it, but because I couldn't remember the detailed information that I needed to for the tests. When you focus on the details so much you often lose sight of the bigger pictures, and I think that's why I don't remember much from modern history at all.

My favorite was by far music. I was Tenor 1 section leader in my choir, was in the smaller, auditioned Chamber Choir, put together a SATB septet my senior year that I was the solo tenor in, and was lead in our barbershop quartet... I think I spent more time in the choir room senior year than in the rest of the school combined XD
