I finally found my bed! I've been looking and looking for a bed set that jumped out at me.

I went from a water bed to a conventional bed last November, so I didn't want clunky side boards or a clunky head/foot board. In fact I don't want a foot board at all!

There is a store here called "Quilts Etc" and they have metal beds that they use to display their bedding on. I've looked at their website and one particular bed frame just leaped off the screen at me and I have searched and searched and just couldn't find it.

Today I stopped by the store to buy a new set of sheets and saw one of those beds that I really liked, so I asked where they got it. Turns out that they sell them!!

So I picked one out and in 2 weeks I'm going to go and buy it. They don't do lay away

Anyway, it's this bed frame. It's made out of cast iron, so it's durable, and I am going to get a custom texture in a dark almost black grey. The same texture as shown in the linked picture.

I absolutely love the foot corners. It gives a bit of a foot board without all of that bulk.

The girl is going to see if she can locate that duvet set in the picture! I absolutely fell in love with it!

Thank you! I thought I was going to have to settle for something less than what I wanted, so I wasn't in a hurry to go and buy something. Nothing I've seen caught my fancy until I saw that frame and then nothing measured up.

I'm so glad I stopped by that store today and thought to ask about it!

There is no sign in their store saying they sell the iron bed frames, and I don't see anything on their website that shows bed frames for sale either. So it seems like it's a best kept secret! I imagine they don't sell many iron beds if they aren't advertising them.

Very very lovely! I love the style without the footboard! So much easier to make the bed too!
