How INCREDIBLY rude!

Coming back from taking my mom to a Dr's appt - we have an aide with us. She is sitting in the back seat. It's past lunch and the poor thing is starving. So, we pull into a nearby fast food place so she can get some food, just as a lady is backing out in a medium sized SUV. She backs out in such a way (straight out) that she is blocking the driveway completely. I start to move around to the left, figuring she can pull around me on HER left. (My car is big - Buick Park Avenue affectionately referred to as the land barge.)

Instead of just going around to the left, this other driver GIVES ME THE MIDDLE FINGER SALUTE! With her young son sitting in the front seat next to her! She pulls to the right, forcing me to pull to MY right and glares at me as I go by. I have a handicapped sign hanging off the rear view mirror and very obviously have an elderly woman in the front with me.

I couldn't believe it; neither could the aide - a very sweet and soft-spoken young lady.

So - not only was the woman a lousy driver and RUDE... she is teaching her son that this is OK behavior. No wonder the world is such a messed up place.

Did you smile back and wave friendly like? it makes people like that really angry..i know i do it to people like that all the time..go ahead be rude..ill just be friendly and smile at you.

I have found that if you smile back, wave, and throw them a kiss, they usually get on with their day.

It happened to me last night when a car entering the interstate had to slow down to merge behind me. I was about to take the next exit, and if you get over for someone to come on, so often they will just ride a long beside you, making it impossible to get back over.

OMG how rude indeed, yes I agree, a smile and a wave and with a child aswell, terrible. x
