Is red or brown soil healthier for cats?

The red dirt will make cats harder to clean I guess. Does the chemical or whatever breakdown of the red dirt more toxic to cats?

The soil doesn't matter, what is in it can be a problem. Fungus (of various types, including ringworm), bacterias, and parasites (if other animals have been around it) are the only thing you need to worry about.

Otherwise it's just messy.

just do not use coco mulch
