We whipped out the BBQ tonight. May as well take advantage of it before the cold weather kicks in.
BF had spinach and provolone stuffed chicken breasts. I had a portobello mushroom cap stuffed with provolone, basil, spinach, tomato and capers. I also made lemon potato wedges and asparagus. Mmm mmm, delish!

Well, I had intentions of treating myself to dinner in a restaurant (DH is away), but I REALLY need to get sewing a dress for an 18th. C. reenactment in less than 2 weeks. I guess dinner will be something out of the freezer; maybe beef tornados with sour cream, with a dash of Pepto-Bismol!

Grilled pizza with all the toppings. My sister and BIL, niece and nephew-in-law, and nephew and niece-in-law are all here for dinner tonight. We all love grilled pizza, so I made a bunch of dough balls last night and threw them into the fridge to rise slowly over night. We'll starting grilling the pizza crusts around 6:00 or so....c'mon over!

I made BF a pork roast, filled with a filling made of pureed mushrooms, bacon, onions, sage and plain cream cheese. I made myself grilled salmon with a honey mustard glaze. As sides we had couscous and roasted carrots, fennel, peppers and onions.

We went to Wasabi, a hibachi Japanese restaurant for dinner because I bought 4 gift certificates from restaurant.com worth $100, for only $24!

Since you have to spend a minimum of $50 to redeem a certificate, I got the Wasabi Special, which is lobster tail, scallops, and filet mignon (originally $34). Rob got his usual hibachi chicken and a beer and we both got extra rice
I have some filet left over and a lot of rice, yay for late night snack and breakfast tomorrow!
