I'm the party pooper I guess. The reason I don't go into those websites is because I inevitably see something that upsets me. Cats do many cute and funny things, but often I see things that I think are more dangerous than cute or funny, especially pics that have obviously been deliberately set up to make a "cute" picture.

So..I stay away.

I have a question...what program can one use to put words on a picture? I have a pic of Aberdeen with a caption I would like to submit.

I run a Mac but am very inept at any sort of graphic thingies.

you can do that in Photobucket. If you use an adblocker, turn it off first.

I always am checking out the pets on my local site and thats how i rescued Frosty.It is NOT good for me to do that as i feel so sorry when there are so many cats that need homes.

I have several times been late from a train/bus/meeting because of lolcats. I just keep going through the pics giggling and then notice I've been looking at them for too long..

I once showed the website for my co-workers when we had basically nothing to do for an hour. We all were in the same room but on our own computers looking at lolcats, bursting to laugh every now and then when another co-worker came to the room, she clearly thought we were all insane laughing at some random cat pictures. (She's russian and doesn't speak any english so she didn't really understand what it was all about).
