Lily sleeps at my feet every night and has done for a long time. Despite this, I still wake up probably once or twice a week, and in a half asleep daze think the lump by my feet is Zoe. I'm convinced that I've fed her in bed and forgotten to put her back in her crib
I never feed Zoe in my bedroom, and have no idea why I think I'd just leave her on the bed and fall asleep, but I'm sure Lily is getting sick of me grabbing her suddenly in the middle of the night and trying to put her over my shoulder - she hates being picked up at the best of times.

I've lost count of how many times I've done it to her

We can get so confused in the night.

My daughter was sleeping on their couch one hot summer night. She half woke and saw her cat, Niles, in the window watching all the night critters.

Well, in her confusion, she thought it was some kind of animal and picked him up and put this forever house cat, OUTSIDE!

Slowly, she came around and realized what she had done....she was devistated!! The whole family was.

It took 2 weeks for them to catch him again, and a vet visit to be sure he was ok!!

I should add she is a known sleepwalker and talker!

If I have a dream and Im eating 9 times out of 10 BF will wake me up in the middle of the night so I stop enjoying my food so much. Not only do I smack my lips so loud it wakes him up but Ive also elbowed him in the head a few times while 'cutting my steak'.....When I woke up after that incident he said I told him to leave me alone and let me cut up my steak so I could eat it. LOL

Im not a sleep walker anymore but I am an avid sleep eater.

When our son was still living at home, he was in the living room early one morning watching tv. DH was dreaming that somebody has broken into the house. When our son turned the tv off and walked back the hallway to his bedroom, his footsteps broke into DH's dream somehow. And DH started growling, "Who's there? Who is it?"

Our son came into our bedroom and we woke DH to tell him that it was OK, it was just our son. It gave everybody a start. Once he was awake, he told us about his dream.....it was not good.

Geez! I need to learn to eat in my dream state! Imagine, a "virtual diet" that will allow you to eat as much as you want and enjoy your food more than you usually do, and not contribute a single calorie!!! I'd be thin again!

I wish it worked like that. I wake up starving to death most of the time, unfortunately I have to wait to eat till close to noon or my stomach gets upset, it is definately not a morning body part LOL
