Garlic in Cat Food

I was perusing the label on Solid Gold Katz-n-Flocken dry food the other day and noticed that garlic is among the ingredients. I was under the impression that garlic can cause irreversible anemia in cats. Solid Gold is a well regarded brand of food, though. Do you think the amount in the food is so minute that it is safe for cats?

Many folks and companies think a small amount is okay... IMHO it is not as we do not know the individual cats tolerance for it
