Glenn Beck/Al Sharpton Rallies in Washington

Just wondering if anyone attended either of the rallies in Washington on Saturday. I didn't, but I did watch some of it on Fox News Saturday night. They had some excerpts from both rallies. The estimates for attendance for the Beck rally range anywhere from 87,000 to 500,000, depending on who you ask. I wish these rallies would serve to unite Americans, but that remains to be seen.

I wasn't there either, but have heard the Restore America rally went extremely well. As usual, Sharpton never misses an opportunity to divide people.

In all honesty, I wouldn't cross the street to listen to either one of them...IMO, they're both divisive fame-seekers. I don't agree with much either of them has to say. It's a nice thought, but I doubt either of these two will be a unifying force.

And Beck is no better. Both try to stir the pot with little to go on, and with the agenda of creating mistrust and anger.

I don't care for much of Beck's style, but his American history series was outstanding, especially the programs about the black founding fathers.
