Apex has landed!

Remember when we were talking about gargoyles? And I had mentioned that I also bought Apex, the winged dragon? Well, Apex landed on our kitchen table last Thursday night.

Here he is, fresh from the packing box, on our kitchen table....



And DH put him up on the arbor on Friday. He's looking in toward the pool.







I think he's awesome!

(Rupert, the gargoyle, hasn't made it here yet.....but he's coming!!)

They also have a few gargoyles that I'm interested in getting. There's a "catgoyle" that I'd love to have for my office; that's about 3 feet long, so it would definitely catch one's eye as they walked by. I asked DH about it and he told me that "Christmas is coming". I think it's called "Catgoyle on the Loose!".

Check it out....they have a lot of nice things, not just gargoyles and dragons. (And no, I'm not affiliated with them in any way....other than the fact that I'm rather addicted to gargoyles, that is.)

Hey! I used to get their catalog in the mail. I had forgotten all about it. I would love to have that big dragon that looks like he is coming out of the lawn.

Awesome page and awesome statue! I bookedmarked the page because I love so many things there. I just love how little touches like that make a house a home.

I didn't think the charges were too bed; I think I paid $15 to have him shipped. He was considered over-sized. I think a lot of their pieces are considered that way, too, as some of them are big.

nurseangel, I love that dragon, too! You're talking about the one that comes in 3 pieces? One of my GFs is seriously considering buying him for her garden. She thought he was really cool. I'm considering it as well, but I'd really like to have the catgoyle first. And there's a gargoyle, Argos Gargoyle Sentinel Statue, that's on my wish list. But we'll see.

You can also buy smaller items for your desk, mantle, etc.

Cool catalog! I see too many that I like. And I don't have a yard.

Yes! That's the dragon I'm talking about. There are so many pretty things on that website. For someone who has trouble making up her mind (me), it's almost overwhelming.
