Lola chewing computer cords

Help!

My Lola is chewing my laptop power cord in particular in addition to all the other cords. The power one is especially stressful because it is so expensive to replace (& somewhat hard to find). The others are standard usb and internet cord so those are easier to find.

Anyone have an idea how to fix this?

My computer is right at the window and I enjoy it there (direct sunlight helps too). My place is not conducive to rearranging at this point.

Ideas?

Same answers as given here.

I don't know if you could, or would want to, but to keep our headphones cords from getting munched on around here I've wrapped them in embroidery floss. Some cords are so soft that cats can't resist chewing them. The string changed the texture and provided a bit of protection to the cord. Plus the floss comes in lots of colors.
You could also use silk or satin ribbon, and maybe even yarn - if you spray that down with bitter apple it would hold it in better.

We've got that problem too. We use plastic tubing that you buy at an office store to cover all our electronic cords. It's expensive at first but cheaper than replacing power cords which we've had to do too. I like the wider diameter because we found that the narrow kind just got chewed on too.

Do you have a link to this sort of thing? I am trying to find something like this but do not know really what to search for exactly. "plastic tubing" yields a lot of results

I've always meant this sort of tubing. Maybe others are using something else. I'm not sure if you could use that on the laptop cord, though, because it would make it more rigid and be a bit annoying if you tried to move - hence why I suggested wrapping it.
