I got up this morning and was making the beds and I was in my dad's room and first I heard a meow and then a hiss well she was behind the curtain on the window sill and she was meowing at me but she then saw the dogs outside and began hissing at them and growling at them. She is a very silly kitty.
I don't agree with it but she came to me and to my sister already declawed and I have not had a declawed cat so not sure if they like cat trees or not but I was thinking of getting her one for my room by my window and one for a corner in the basement so she can just get up high as she is one of the cats who seems to like that. And maybe set up some hooks in front of the porch next spring with some hummingbird feeders on them. It is too late now but I could maybe put up some regular feeders in the tree infront of the house so she can watch the birds. She seems like she is unsure of what to do with a toy I guess she never had a cat toy but I bought her a small pack of them so maybe she will get used to them soon. As soon as I get some batteries for my camara and she gets a bit more comfortable with the house and in particular the upstairs I will get some pics of her.

Mine were adopted as declawed adults - they like their cat trees just fine! As long as there's a ledge she can jump to, she should be fine. My little girl tends to jump to the first ledge, and then pull herself up to the top of the tree and sit there.

You may have to play with the toys with her - have you tried a laser pointer? Mine just love that.

Good luck! It's very nice of you to think about the trees and trying to attract birds for kitty TV - mine love looking out the patio door to watch the birds and chipmunks that come by.

She will love somewhere to perch. I have feeders all around my home and the cats are constantly entertained.

She is lucky to have you.

Hiding from my SS!
My declawed cats seem to like everything clawed cats do.

Its not too late for hummingbird feeders, by the way. I put one up about 2 weeks ago and I have 5 or 6 hummingbirds every day!
