Out of curiosity when filling out your email for sign ups did anyone else have trouble listing preferances and stuff like that.....Ive never ever had to tell anyone stuff I like involved in Christmas or anything, I either do the shopping myself or Bf knows me so well he knows what I will like regardless of what I tell him. He even has my favorite candy bars down pat based on my moods!!

Nah, because I use the same exact email that I started with, lol. The only change has been my address, but seeing as I scrounged up my email from last year, it has a correct address.

Last year I had trouble coming up with things to put down on the list. It was my first year, and I didn't want anyone to feel obiligated to try to find what I listed or over spend. I felt funny because I didn't want to seem like I was being greedy or expecting everything on my list.
This year was differerent. I didn't have trouble filling out some suggestions for what I like. When I post on the hints list, I'll go much more in depth with it. There are some things I'd love to try (like pickles in a can) that may be available if my SS is in a large city, because they don't sell those where I live. So I may put them the hints list. I also love regional gifts, including the free real estate books they have most everywhere. I try to list things that would be affordable, though I want my SS to know that if they get me nothing from my list, that's fine too. It's easy to make me happy.

Yeah i struggle on the email one not on the hints thread though, but i dont care about the price tag on something, its the thought that counts
I am better at answering direct questions (ex: What is your favorite color) than coming up with suggestions (ex: List some things you are interested in). So I think that is why the hints thread is easier for me than the email.

I haven't found a gnome willing to ride the llama when I ship it to my SS. I am still looking and taking applications, but my SS might have to hire their own gnome.
I have a few Gnomes 'trolling' around here... good-fer-nothing little things... won't even do my dishes.
LOL I swear Im going to hunt up something llama themed for SS!! Haha even if I have to travel out of town to find it!
I have the worst time putting stuff down that I like because its all pretty simple, I like cat themed stuff, miniature dacschund themes and golden retriever themes. The only other stuff I like is Hersheys chocolate, and Im super into historical romance novels...LOL I literally am in a rut of my own personal preferances. Haha!!
I do have some good ideas of hand crafted stuff that for whoever I get one thing I know will work well for a man or woman the other thing is more designed with personal preferances in mind so I have to wait on that till I get my name. Participating in SS is a Christmas present from BF, he doesnt get it but he knows how super excited I am for it and it kind of makes him excited too...Except when I update him on what we are all gabbing about in this thread then he is like "Um Ok" and looks at me like Ive become some green skinned alien telling him I want to eat his brains. LOL

Actually, the "likes" you mentioned are pretty helpful. I can think of lots of ideas just based on what you posted.
BF thinks we're a little off the beam? A little strange? I wonder why? Is it the llamas? Is it the gnomes? Or the gnomes riding llamas? Nah, it can't be those things...they're so mundane. It must be that I like Raisinets. I have to admit, that is a little unusual.
