Right here! :)
I´m Icelandic, live in Iceland and have always lived here (lived a short while aboad though) and can trace my ancestors back to the settlers in Iceland, a thousand years ago. (used to work as a genealogic researcher)

I really love learnng about different ethnic groups and different cultures. (No wonder I studied anthropology and geography at the university
)

My Mother's parents came to the US from Norway though my Mother was born here.

On my Dad's side was English, German, Irish mix. His ancestors had been in the US for a loooooong time and did a fine job of mixing it up.

I definately have traits of Norwegian ancestry. I'm 52 and still have light blonde hair....not a strand of gray to be found. But my MOM and brother have stark white hair, my bro's started turning in high school.

It's funny as my daughters father was very dark haired and had brown eyes, she has blue eyes and blonde hair as does my grandson. Some potent genes those Norwegian ones.

A real mix.
Father's side is mostly German and English. Mother's side is a little bit of everything - French and some Cree (on her father's side - he looks it), Irish, Dutch, and some Danish (from her mother).

German and Italian. I honestly don't know of any other ethinicities in our family history, but it is something I am curious about. I'm sure there are others.

Don't know what my mom is...she's olive-complected, brown eyes...that doesn't really narrow it down. Even though I'm usually pale, I can get a pretty good tan, thanks to her.

My dad is 3/4 Swedish.

Name a European ethnic group that settled New York State prior to the civil war and I've probably got ancestors there:

Dutch
English
Welsh
Scottish
Scotch-Irish
German...

and a Mohawk Indian Squaw thrown in for good measure... This happened way back when it was scandalous to have non-white relations. Took me until my teens to find out what our Native Tribal affiliation was. I am one division to many to qualify for citizenship in the Mohawk Nation, however.

Have a DAR membership elligibility if I ever want it and am related to a couple folks that go back to the Mayflower too. The NY Dutch side goes back to when the colony was called "New Amsterdam".

Now I am dating a Japanese guy...

Over the river and through the woods...
I really have no idea. I was adopted as a baby (closed state adoption), but they told my parents that I was "mainly" Scottish, Irish and Welsh. I have green eyes, brownish/auburn hair and freckles, so I'm guessing that's the truth. I would love to find out more, but that would take a court order to open the files (ie, life threatening medical emergency where they would need a family match), or I can pay mega bucks for the state to contact my birth family and see if they would be willing to share info. Which would be helpful when it comes to heath issues and what to look for, but I'm not sure I want to open that can of worms.

Born in the US, parents born here too but my grandparents were from Naples Italy. I guess I am a pedigree, full blooded Italian.
