So Sybil's kittens have started to discover solid food, which makes me think they're going to need litter soon.

I vaguely remember reading somewhere that kittens shouldn't use clumping litter. Can anyone verify this? I just don't want to give them the same litter as mom if it will be bad for them.

Thanks.

I ve heard at 8 weeks you can use the clumping litter. That was a prob for me until I realized to put moms litter box up high where the babies couldn't get into it. Theirs I kept on the floor with the clay litter.

Of course, mom took a liking to using theirs....I guess it was too much trouble to jump up!
