Both right BUT the term they really are looking for in the question is stifle which is the equivelant of the human knee, complete with patella, cruciate ligaments, etc. Knee on a quadruped is on the front leg. Hind leg terms from top down: hip, stifle, hock, and hind wrist on dogs and cats, fetlock on hooved animals. Front, from top down - withers, shoulder, elbow, knee, wrist on pawed animals, fetlock on hooved. Thus ends the anatomy lesson for the day
