Morning folks!

Another sunny with cloudy day today, but it is much cooler than usual for August. I am a little disappointed that summer is basically gone here

I do love Fall though, so fresh and so clean!

Off to work in a few, and then tonight making dinner and watching Big Brother with the husb.

It's a lovely sunny day here, but you can feel it's getting cooler. It was only 16 in the conservatory just after 7.30.a.m this morning, but in June it would have been 22

Our Big Brother is finishing completely this year is yours?. It's ran it's course now, but the one that's on at the moment has to be the funniest one they've done

I don't think Big Brother is ending this year. I hear rumors of another All-Star coming up. The ratings haven't been that great since they keep casting actors/actresses. Ugh

Another cloudy day but fully enjoying the cooler weather while it lasts.

Yesterday was Mom's 65th birthday. I baked my first real cake. It was still a boxed cake but I added and used an online recipe. OMG it was so good. Mom was totally thrilled!!!!!!!!! We usually forget about cakes for birthdays but she always remembers and bakes me a chocolate one. She still doesn't know about the surprise on Saturday. hehe It should be a big surprise since she is seeing most of her friends tomorrow to visit another friend in need.

Good job on your first cake! I'm going to attempt to make Apple Cider Doughnuts this afternoon

The recipe is in the new All You magazine & they look amazing!

Going to the dr. with Landon this afternoon. He came down with an outter ear infection over the weekend and it's getting worse. He's not eating, extremely cranky & still pulling at his ears. They are going to get us an appointment with the Ear, Nose & Throat specialist to talk about putting tubes in his ears

Otherwise it's a beautiful day! I have the AC off and windows open! It's only in the upper 60s right now

Oh yuck on the ear infection. Tubes did wonders for me as a child. I think I was about 5years old. My cousin didn't have any luck. She is pushing 40 and had tubes too many times to count

The worst about the tubes is waking up. I remember being sick for hours but it's worth it in the long run. Good luck with the doughnuts. Yum Yum.

Well I am official 29 today...which in my opinion is FAR too close to 30...

No real plans though as we celebrated last weekend. Dana has been hinting that he might take me out for dinner.

I am off work as well, until Monday actually, so I'm doing a whole lot of relaxing and cuddling with the kitties! Hope you all have a great day!

It is some cooler where I live. But the mosquitoes are very bad in the yard. Spray, spray and more spray before going outside. I have been picking grapes today and gathering pears from the pear tree. I love to cook the pears like canned pears and they make a delicious pie. Have a great day everyone.

I too, turned 29 way back in December, and yeah, it's way too close to 30.

Which is really not bad I guess considering most of the people I hang out with are in their 30s and some in their 40s.. But still.. it's different when it's me! That's why I plan to celebrate my '1st Anniverary of Being 29' this December!

babyharley- I hope your son gets better soon. Ear infections are the worst!

So, what's on for today in the LBC... Not much planned, going to be another hot one. Yay! I just don't like driving when it's really hot because I hate A/C, but I need it in the car when it's 90. I need it when it's 80 usually too. Too sunny. I will continue with reading Business Law, and then go to Accounting class tonight. BF flies from from Amarillo tonight, he should be home before I get home if his flights are on time.

Another unbearably hot day today - 104 F. Tomorrow will be in the mid-90's and we have no humidity. Later in the week it will be unseasonably cool.

No dates tonight. Just salsa from 5 - 6 pm. Then the pool when I get home.

Getting colder here. I can definitely sense the autumn in the air.

As I was suspecting, I got sick yesterday. Had to reschedule the vet appointment and skip other stuff I was supposed to do. Still sick today, the fever hasn't gone down but hopefully will before end of the week. I've been just watching movies and documentaries, not enough energy to do much else.
