I'm just going to brag a bit here, about my amazing special G-cat. She had a vet appointment this morning for her rabies shot. She threw a bit of a temper tantrum, yelling at me when I put her in the carrier, but after I zipped it up, she was fine. Goodin the car, good in the waiting room. While lots of cats don't like to come out of the carrier in the exam room, Genever walked right out, tail in the air, got on the scale and got the thermometer stuck up her butt, didn't even flinch. Then she was allowed to jump down and sniff around the room until the vet came in. When she came in, Genever just rubbed all over her legs and wanted pets, and then had to get back up on the table to be looked at, and she was just so good and lovey. The vet kept going on about how friendly and outgoing she is. She even gave G-cat a treat (Hills Rx Diet Hypoallergenic treats) and she scarfed it right up. She said hardly any cats take treats in the clinic. And the techs, one who took her temp and the other who did the rabies shot and somehow 'got' a stool sample (she was overdue for a fecal test, but i didn't know they could just um, get a sample not from the litterbox!
), both gushed about how well behaved and friendly she is.

I'm such a proud meowmy!!

Reminds me of Muffin. Our vet says Muffin is the only cat who purrs while he is getting a needle stuck in him.
