I think it will be sunny today. I am off to work in a few.

Tonight DH and I are going on a date, it is half price movie night!

But I am supposed to go to the gym with my coworker so I have to let her down easy

Heading out shortly for a week in Massachusetts for Dottie's mother's 91st birthday.

She's an identical twin, so if they both live a few more years, they'll be in Guiness as the oldest living twins.

Working from home again today and it's a beautiful day!

After today I have 5 days off, so I may curl up later and have a glass of wine (or 3, lol) and enjoy a book.

I do have some chores to do eventually, but I'll get to them.

A dark and somewhat dreary day; the sun is trying to come out, but the clouds seem to be winning that battle. Kind of coolish, too; we had windows open for awhile this morning.

Not too much going on today....I have some land development plans to review and that's pretty much it.

Today is a really nice cool day, I had such a good night's sleep last night with a cool breeze coming in thru the windows. It may only hit 70 today but I'm lovin' it and Autumn is enjoying the open windows. She is sitting right next to me at the open window here in the office, wow what a breeze. We may get a few sprinkles again today. Have a nice day everyone.

Good afternoon! It's a hot one in the LBC today! Finally about a week ago it started to feel like summer, and for the next few days it's supposed to be really hot in the 90s in the beach cities. So that probably means it's well into the 100s inland. The house is still pretty cool so far, but I think it will probably get hot once the afternoon sun comes though the front windows. That's ok, I'm sure it won't be nearly as bad as the apartment was, up on the 10th floor and all that..

So, my day. I took Genever to the vet this morning for her rabies shot. She was so well behaved and friendly as always, she made me feel so proud of her when all the techs and the vet kept saying how good she is. My G-cat is the best!!

No real plans for the rest of the day, but I do want to wash my car, probably after 6 when it will be more in the shade. I have studying to do also, I can't fall behind on that! BF flew to Amarillo, TX this morning for a short work trip. He will get home tomorrow evening. So it's just me and Genever for the day. We will keep each other company.

Had to work at the bookstore today. That was a good diversion. Today is Linus's Angel Day. I can't believe he's been gone a whole year. Stomach's still not over this bug completely yet, and I miss him even more than usual because of it. He always took care of me when I was sick.

Gotta pick up hubby from work at 5 then I have practice for this Jukebox memories thing we're doing as a fundraiser for the church, and I'm performing my solo of Dusty Springfield's "You don't have to say you love me" - which I've only been practicing a week since that's when Father Mike asked me if I would do a solo - and then practicing the medley we've practiced a whole handful of times.

Then home to watch the last episode of season four of House I rented from the video store.

Until I pick up hubby I'm going to listen to sad songs, try to squeak out a few tears I feel I need to come out and then get back on the bandwagon of being productive.

It is hotter than you know what here today. The hottest day all this cool summer, about 106 (over 40 C). What's funnier is that by the weekend we will be down in the 70's.

Got a date tonight. Richard. I think I better look him up because I don"t remember which one he is.
