It feels so great to be back!
We had another ultra sound yesterday which showed heartbeat! So the baby has survived all these bleedings and so far all is well. We're not out of the woods yet, as there are signs of the separation of the pregnancy sack from the uterus (that was the reason for the bleeding). The doc said to keep resting and not "go to work", but he also said I can get out of bed and sit by the computer for 2-3 hours a day!!!
Apparently, we had a narrow escape. That pregnancy would have been lost if I hadn't stayed in bed the whole time. It's really great to know that all the effort was not in vain. I can't begin to describe the feeling of seeing that heartbeat on the monitor! Such an overwhelming sense of relief! This one was against the odds - we had a 70-80% chance of losing the pregnancy.
But... we're not out of the woods yet. That's why I need to keep resting for the next couple of weeks - until our next ultrasound. If all is well then, this will return to be a normal pregnancy. Until then - it's still considered a high-risk pregnancy.
I've really missed you guys! I'm going to read all the threads I've missed (I guess if I have 2-3 hours a day, it would take me several days!) I do hope everyone's okay!
Love you all
