I'm back!

It feels so great to be back!

We had another ultra sound yesterday which showed heartbeat! So the baby has survived all these bleedings and so far all is well. We're not out of the woods yet, as there are signs of the separation of the pregnancy sack from the uterus (that was the reason for the bleeding). The doc said to keep resting and not "go to work", but he also said I can get out of bed and sit by the computer for 2-3 hours a day!!!

Apparently, we had a narrow escape. That pregnancy would have been lost if I hadn't stayed in bed the whole time. It's really great to know that all the effort was not in vain. I can't begin to describe the feeling of seeing that heartbeat on the monitor! Such an overwhelming sense of relief! This one was against the odds - we had a 70-80% chance of losing the pregnancy.

But... we're not out of the woods yet. That's why I need to keep resting for the next couple of weeks - until our next ultrasound. If all is well then, this will return to be a normal pregnancy. Until then - it's still considered a high-risk pregnancy.

I've really missed you guys! I'm going to read all the threads I've missed (I guess if I have 2-3 hours a day, it would take me several days!) I do hope everyone's okay!

Love you all !!!

Thank you everyone for your kind words! I am really happy to be back. I'm feeling very pregnany these past few days I've been sick twice yesterday evening and then once again in the middle of last night - Yuck!

I'm always nasueaous too , but I try not to complain too much as I'm really happy to be feeling like this if you see what I mean... Thinking about having a few weeks like this though.... Last night was awful! I hate being sick but there was nothing I could do about it! On top of that I had a splitting headache and the combination was really nasty! I'm thinking this may also be because of the stress I've gone through these past 2 weeks - lying in bed not knowing what's going to happen. And I'm generally anxious about the whole baby thing... I keep telling myself that so many women have been through this before and survived but I'm still having the occasional panic attack! I guess throwing up my prozac pill doesn't help

Well, I hope everything will turn out for the best! Thanks again everyone for your kind words!

Whoever named it "morning sickness" obviously was never pregnant (must've been a guy). It should be morning, noon and night sickness. But, as bad as it makes you feel, it's a good feeling in a strange sort of way. That too shall pass. Glad to have you back!

Here's to getting over anytime of the day sickness soon! Mine didn't go away til the fourth month. I just had bad nauseau though, nothing else. I had bad headeaches too, I think they were stress induced from work, because when I switched departments they went away.
You can do it Anne! This is my third! I've done it twice and am brave enough to do it again! Even after seeing what happens when they turn 2!

I am so glad everything is going well with your baby. Sorry you are having the morning sickness but I have to tell you that I was told by my doctor many years ago that when you have the natural symptoms like morning sickness then everything is going well. Take care and dont tire yourself out sitting on the computer too long.

oh, Anne, i hear you, that is the one thing i am really not looking forward to while pregnant,
'morning sickness' or just plain 'sickness' i cant handle getting sick, i hate, DETEST it more then anything.

so i hope you know i am thinking of you, and holding your hand half a world away

I'm sure all of this will be forgotten quickly once you have the baby. All of it is greatly amended for, so have patience dearest. It'll be over one day and you and Alpha will be the happiest people on earth ( and so will be the little one for having such great parents!!!). I'm thinking about you a lot!!!!!
Love and hugs!
