A couple of days ago, a bag containing 17 kittens was found at a landfill, here. Two were dead and some had to be euthanized. All but two of the remaining kittens have been adopted out, by the Humane Society. They are keeping two, for a bit longer, to fatten them up and get them healthy.

The HS has scraped up $1700, for a reward for information, leading to whoever dumped these kittens. PETA has added $1000 to the reward fund.

That's what I thought. They never donate to the spay and neuter program, though.

The two that are left are awfully cute. Bill says "no", though.

I saw them on the evening news. I'm forbidden to go to the Humane Society. Bill says tht they'd better have a cage, big enough for me and all of the cats that I'd adopt.

I'm happy to hear that most of them have been adopted. I remember seeing it on the news, but at the time none of them had been adopted and I was wondering how they were doing.
