Surgery vibes for me, please

I just checked my voicemail a little while ago and there was a message from Jan! (I wasn't feeling so well yesterday, so I think I was laying down when she called). In the message she said she was still having some issues with pain and her incisions site (from what I understood, she has both staples and sutures and a lot of them for that matter!) They may be keeping her in the hospital for a few more days until she's feeling well enough to go home. She said that she had read a little bit of TCS threads but was not feeling quite up to posting just yet. I will try to call her later today for another update. Please keep sending some vibes for our sweet Jan that the pain goes away and she's back to normal soon!

I am not on here as much as I should be. Sorry I am late in seeing this and hope you are feeling better and stronger every day!

Guess who called me today?! (Well, technically yesterday since it's after midnight here now). Jan! She called me and said that they had moved her out of the hospital and into a rehabilitation facility now! That's definitely a good step in the right direction! She will likely be there for a little while as she gains strength and recovers (When I asked, she was not quite sure when she will get to go home yet, but she's going to keep me posted!). She said that she was able to get up and walk to the restroom today (that's another good step in the right direction considering she still has sutures/staples and is in pain...I think the more she moves around, the sooner her body will begin to heal up. I know after my heart surgery I did NOT want to move a muscle, but once the nurses "forced" me out of bed and got me moving, I did start to slowly feel a bit better each day. I'm thinking it will be similar for our Jan if she paces herself!)

Please continue to keep Jan in your prayers that the pain stays at bay and she makes a full recovery! I will update again when I talk to her next.

Jan left a voicemail for me yesterday when I was out. She said that she had a doctors appointment on Friday and that they were able to remove most of her stitches/staples. The doctors said that her incision site looks good! (very nice news!). She said that she's still a bit sore where the incision site is, but hopefully that will ease up soon! She will likely be in the hospital for another week or so before she can go home. Jan is definitely ready to see her furbabies again! Keep sending vibes for her speedy recovery and return home!

I will try to call her later for another update. The past few days have been crazy on my end, so I'll try to get in touch with her soon.

I appologize for just now updating, I had some complications last week so I spent part of the week back in the emergency room myself and hadn't had a chance to contact Jan until now.

I just tried calling her cell a little while ago to get an update on her. and it said that her voicemail was full so I was unable to leave a message with her. Hopefully she will call back when she feels up to it so that I can keep everyone updated. Keep sending some of those wonderful TCS vibes and prayers her way for a quick recovery and reunion with her furbabies!

Katie I'm pretty darn sure she wants to praticipate in SS! She's talked about it several times with me on the phone about how much she enjoys it. Hopefully she will get back home and online soon so she can sign up! I know that's one of her favorite times of year, her being a dark-sider and all

Sending many, many recovery to Jan! This recovery is a long process, it sounds like. Hope she's not too uncomfortable and will be able to get back to her furkids soon!! I'm sure they miss her!

I just heard from Jan tonight! (sorry I'm late in updating, I've been pretty sick and there was a little mix up with the numbers). I've got some good news: She gets to come home tomorrow!! She is very excited about seeing her furbabies and getting caught up on all of TCS threads!

Please keep sending some vibes her way as she continues to make a full recovery!
