Another jump in food prices!

Stopped into the local chain hypermart last night and thought I would pick up a few spare cans of FF.... Wow - it went from something like 56 cents to 69 cents a can! Anyone in the area knows about Meijer. That will price some folks right out of the purchase.

Still 50 cents ea at Petsmart with a PS card..... But wow. Just wow.

It's crazy, isn't it?

I feed my fosters the grain-free canned Wellness and Natural Balance flavors.... Not all that long ago, they used to average about 99 cents a can, now, it's closer to $1.70. *sheez*

I wince every time I hand over the money.

FF is only part of the boys' diet. But Authority was "reformulated" and repackaged and the wet went up 11 cents per 6 oz can. Sigh......

It was 30 cents for a while, then went back to like 55 cents... so it's back to 30 again??? At least that's what happened around here and I am assuming the prices are chain-wide?

I will go check. Been a rough couple of weeks - my mom is in the hospital....

Yeah, FF is back to the old price. . .sigh, it was nice while it lasted. I don't normally buy FF but I had the baby kittens so I used FF kitten food, which has surprisingly decent ingredients. My mom's elderly cats only eat FF so she was glad for the price break. It would be nice if they did it again soon but I suspect they only did it to get everybody's cats hooked so you'd HAVE to buy it at full price when the sale ended.
