.....and I can't afford a vet....

I lost my job exactly 3 weeks ago. aside from being depressed about that.. my cat is getting progressively worse.

vets around here charge so much just for the initial exam before they even get to the testing phase.

She's losing hair
Losing weight
Not interested in food
Has diarrhea
Her poops are free of visible parasites

She had a nasal infection about a month ago and I've been giving her antibiotics for about 4 weeks and she is on Revolution.

But she needs vet care.. I literally do not have the money in the bank for an initial vet exam. I am so depressed. What do I do now? ;__;

Whats the maximum you can afford to pay weekly or bi-weekly? I just had ~$430 in vet bills and was allow to pay it off in payments (I did $130-ish a week) since I've been with the same vet for so long.

See if they'll let you make payments.

Where are you located? Perhaps someone here can refer you to a vet that will help you.

Is the nasel infection cleared up? 4 weeks is along time to be on antibiotics that might be causing her not to feel well.It will cause diarehea

Well I took her to the vet.. $173 x___x
She had flea allergies which was causing the hair loss.. and the antibiotics were causing the diarrhea. she got some new medicine and fluids for her dehydration.

Ugh, these posts break my heart

Poor kitty.

I am glad that you were able to take her to the vet though and hopefully she is on the mend.
