URI never knew

The last few days BK was acting like he had a hairball that needed to come up. He quit eating, kept swallowing, gaging, not sleeping, would only sit up not lay down, did not want you to touch him. I took him to the Vet this morning and he has an URI. He got a shot and oral medicine to take twice daily. I feel so bad, but I thought he would have different symptoms for an URI. When we got to the vet he had a temp of 104 and the vet showed me his nose where it was running .
BK is taking a nap now since he has not slept in 2 days.

aww poor kitty. I have learned that when a cat starts not acting like it self it is normal best to take it to the vet. If you are lucky it will be fine, but if not atleast you catch the problem early. Hope he feels better soon. It seems like every kitty is getting URIs
