I really don't know but i would 3 vets and see how much difference there prices may be.
I THINK you are referring to your cat and not yourself.

Yes I am referring to my cat. First I did say an allergy shot for a cat, not an allergy shot for one allergic to cats. I guess I can call around, but the trouble is that I already took her once to my closest vet (where I found out she is allergic to fleas). I do not want to go to a different vet if I do not have to, unless the price difference is significant. The problem is, I take the bus, and pets generally are not allowed on the bus unless they are service animals (well service dogs) or are in a carrier or some kind. I don't like how the site for the vet I used only lists some of the services they provide (I understand that if it is a much lesser or uncommon procedure that they might not mention it), and not how much they cost. Sure I could call, but it would be a lot faster if the verious sites listed costs as well as services.

I don't think any of us here would be able to give you an answer since few to none of us live in NS and the rates for anything vary immensely from vet to vet as well as geographically. As suggested, the best thing for you to do is use your yellow pages and call the vets in your vicinity to get pricing.
