I don't have a picture of him at this time, I have taken a couple of him but I haven't uploaded them yet. He's a blond tabby, 4 months old, 6 pounds, and carries a stuffed peace bear with him.
I started fostering his litter of six kittens when they were four weeks old from a shelter I volunteer with. They were cute and cuddle, but poor Pumpkin has always been sick. He was diagnosed with a Pneumonia-type lung disease at 10 weeks. The vet took x-rays of his lungs, said one lung had no air moving and the other didn't look good either, worse than Pneumonia. He was 2 pounds at diagnosis and we all feared he would have to be put down but we (vet, cat coordinator, and myself) tried to get him out of the woods. He acted normal, besides coughing really bad. He was put on Zithromax for 6 weeks and it's his second week off. He was neutered this past Monday, vet was worried he wouldn't make it through but he did with no problems. He still coughs some but with chest pats it's virtually none now, he's a lot better. Pumpkin was born on 4/12 and is now 4 months old and 6 pounds. He's not fat at all but growing like a weed. I'm officially adopting Pumpkin this Saturday.
I'm 22, female, working on finishing my education, volunteer with a shelter, hang out with friends, and currently job searching.
