Superman...in Cincinnati!

The location for the next Superman comic will be set in Cincinnati.

Did you know that the Hall of Justice from the Super Friends cartoon that premiered in 1973 was modeled after Union Terminal which is also in Cincinnati? Union Terminal is the home of the Cincinnati Museum Center (one of my favorite places in the city).

I didn't know that. I should email that to my brother. He was so into the Super Friends when he was 10-12

Cleveland? Well, not everyone can be perfect.

DC Comics official blog said that this region is one of the largest historical districts in the country. "Porkopolis", at one time, was the largest producer of pork in the country. Cincinnati also served as a conduit for the Underground Railroad. At one time there was a very large German population in the community. Those three are just off the top of my head.

Hey, Superman lives in Metropolis and that is in Southern Illinois.

I don't own a single issue of any Superman comic, but I may have to get this one. I'e always liked Batman because it is a bit darker than Superman, and Green Lantern.
