Queen Eva had her Kitten Revolution last night. How soon should I expect to see the roundworms in her poop? She's pooped three times since then but nothing yet. <impatient!>

By the way she is a different kitten since getting rid of the fleas!

She might throw them up. Isn't that a pleasant thought?

I wouldn't be surprised if the fleas didn't make her a bit anemic, which would contribute to lower energy level.

I seem to recall that it was a good 36-48 hours before Sophie started passing them - and her first deworming didn't catch it, something to do with the life cycle of the worms, and where in the body they resided at the time of the first treatment. It wasn't until the 2nd round of treatment that we started seeing them.

And wow, huge worms for such tiny babies. It's such a relief to see them passing, and yet so horrifying that those monstrous things are taking up space in these delicate little creatures!

for Eva, get rid of those yucky things, girl!
