Was wrong with the thing again.

They said it's likely he has FIV.

FIV is feline aids... you can get him tested for it.
I don't want to confuse you even more... They are not talking about FIP, are they?
Can you actually call them and get it straight? Or is it in the paperwork?

Yeah FIP.

He has ALL of the symptoms. His meow sounds rough and he keeps huffing and puffing.

he has
lack of appetite,
fever,
jaundice,
He has no diarrhea, he hasn't used the litter box since he got sick
weight loss,
difficulty in standing up or walking,
becomes functionally paralyzed over time.

FIP can not be diagnosed for certainty, and unfortunately it has no cure either... I hope it is not FIP, as it is a lethal disease.
Symptoms generally include chronic weight loss, depression, anemia, and a persistent fever that does not respond to antibiotic therapy. Wet FIP makes cats develop a pot belly...
I really really really hope this is something else... When they took the x-ray, was there fluid in his abdomen?

The jaundice... Make sure he eats so his live doesn't shot down - even if that means to force feed him with a syringe. Try Fancy Feast wet food, tuna, treats, boiled chicken, whatever he will eat... But make SURE he eats. Jaundice is a sign of his live shutting down, and that can be from him not eating; it can turn into fatty liver disease, and that is a very very complicated disease to have on the top of whatever he already has.

None of the vets we have taken him to will do a xray on him. they just feel around on him. He doesn't look hurt. Just really sick. He's not even 2 years old yet. I don't know what he's got and apparently none of the vets here in oklahoma do either. the Oklahoma State University is the only place here that teaches veterinary and they apparently don't teach them enough to actually learn how to figure out what's wrong with animals.

When he had a seizure a while back my mom took him to a emergency pet hospital and they kept him over night and said there was nothing wrong with him, just a elevated temperature.

When he got sick a couple days ago this vet "Cat's only clinic" kept him over night, did blood tests all came back negative and said nothings wrong with him, just a elevated temperature and gave him some medicine we can't down his throat without him spitting it up.

Last one we took him to checked him, weighed him. He weighed 9 pounds. He weighed 10 pounds a couple days before. gave him some appetite stimulants and he won't even eat.

He drinks tons of water, and we got him some chicken broth and he drank some of that. He's finally been coming around us instead of hiding. He's skiddish and he won't let us pet him. His meow sounds rough and he sits and stares at walls.

We don't have any money anymore to get him to another vet and we can't get care credit because we have the worst credit in the world.

Is there anything we can do to get him into a vet. We need to get him REALLY checked. If our vet we used to take him to wasn't full last week we could have actually gotten something done. But now since we wasted our money on those crappy vets, we can't get him checked this week.

I just don't know what to tell you, other than you and your family have my prayers. I don't know - would calling your regular vet, explaining everything you've done, the visits to the other vets who didn't seem to explain much to you, and your concerns, help the vet to get you in as an emergency visit and let you pay over time to the vet?

If it is something terminal, you may have to reach out to the vet to ease your poor little one to a painless passing. I'm just so angry that those vets didn't help you more, and it's just so unfair that you have all this dumped on your family.

It actually sounds like this

http://www.sniksnak.com/cathealth/seizures.html

A seizure. Instead of using the litter box he just pees where ever he wishes.

"Behavioral changes, including non-recognition of guardian, viciousness, pacing, and running in circles"

Behavioral changes, check. Not recognizing me, check. Viciousness, check, he bit the crap out of my mom. Pacing and running in circles. Check. He did that all night from 3 AM to 11 AM.

Ok... Every time I log into this thread this cat has something different: From FPV to FHV to FIV to FIP and finally Seizures...
If he is epileptic, he needs medicine to control his seizures.

Sorry I don't know exactly what my cat has since none of my vets know how to actually examine him. they look at him and pet him and say there is nothing wrong.

They just felt him and said "It could be FIV or FIP from the way he's acting."

The first vet gave him Baytril

The second vet gave him Mirtazapine to stimulate his appetite.

Unfortunately it sounds like you got two bad vets in a row... I a sorry...
There is no way a vet could say something like that just by feeling your cat.
About FIV: Is this an inside cat? Where did you get this cat from? Usually you get the kitten tested when you get it - the shelter, rescue or breeder will tell you it is FIV negative. From that time on, the only way it can get it is if it roams outside and it is bitten on a fight, or through mating, etc - basically through blood or bodily fluids exchange, much like AIDS. There is a vaccine for it, which is given for outside cats.
If this is an inside cat, it is very unlike he has FIV.

There is no testing for FIP, as I said... You see it much more often in kittens or in cats with FeLV for example...

Too bad you didn't get an x-ray.... but oh well...
IMHO I would not take these "diagnosis" too seriously though - as I said, there is no way a vet can just take a look at your cat once and say that is what it has.

Plus, your cat had an accident.... That seems to be skipping their attention completely.

Anyways, good luck with the kitty.... Hope he gets better...
Make sure to keep him eating - I can not stress this enough - very very important.

He's been sleeping under my brother's bed so we put a bowl of canned catfood and a bowl of water under there and he's been eating it and drinking it.

We got him from my cousin who had a scottish fold cat and a yellow tabby. She bread the scottish fold and the tabby and got a bunch of scottish folds. He is a inside cat. We have another cat that doesn't have a breed. He's just a domestic shorthair apparently with tuxedo fur, He doesn't like my scottish fold much at all anymore. The cat that is sick is the scottish fold (His name is Meow Mix, we just call him meow mostly) and the other cat's name is Puppy chow (Which we call puppy mostly) Anyways, They are both inside cats and they never go outside unless it's to a vet. They are both extremely sweet and extremely good natured and love everyone. Since meow mix got sick like this he has been extremely skiddish and scared of anyone petting him. He won't let anyone pick him up or he will hiss and growl. It's upsetting to see him this sad. There's nothing we can do but let him be and make sure he eats the food under the bed. He's randomly been eating out of the actual catbowl but I don't know if he's actually used the litter box at all. It looked like he peed in the floor last night.

Another thing, His eyes are dilated 24/7

Yeah, cats do hide and can act aggressive when they are sick - this is very normal.
It sounds like there is a possibility your cousin never tested him for FIV - I would call and ask. I still think that chances are very minimum.
How much is he eating?
You said you are putting canned food under the bed - is he eating the whole thing? Don't just leave it up to him... Not eating can kill a cat... If he is eating on his own that is an excellent sign...
I hate that this cat will not see a good vet for what he is actually sick or hurt with. Just absolutely hate it.

Then your cat is not a Scottish Fold, he is a domestic shorthair. A moggie. If a cat is not purebred, then it is a moggie. You don't get Scottish Folds from breeding Fold x moggie. Please don't claim your cat is a specific breed when he isn't. There are other breeds with folded ears besides a Scottish Fold, so folded ears do not automatically make the cat a Scottish Fold (just like not all the tailless cats are Manx).
Get your cat to the vet and demand an x-ray, he could have serious issues. I'm sorry, I don't mean to sound rude but an irresponsible breeding mixed with the difficult Fold-gene is something that makes me very mad, and sad for those poor cats that may end up sick because of it. I'm dealing with lots of cases like this because of irresponsible backyard breeders who sell and breed their sick cats..

Are his legs and tail ok, he lets you handle them and they aren't sore?
^My earlier reply from the time you showed the pictures of your cat.. just thought to add it here again in case it was ignored in the first place.
