I found the text in this book spot on, but the illustrations aren't helpful at all. Good over all book

This mat caught my eye because of its size and texture, which traps fine litter rather well. It's large enough for jumbo litterboxes, which is also a plus. It's not quite as easy to clean as a...

This scoop was a freebie with some clumping litter I bought last year, and I like it so much that I've bought a second one. It's perfect for fine clumping litter, which it sifts very thoroughly....

IMHO for the $$ start with taste ... overall very good and well budget minded
Instinct has the advantage of tapicoa as it is proven NOT to cause allergies in humans or cats and dogs to this point....... the flip side is the cost of it and the fact that so many wont touch it...
Taste has IMHO too much pea and potato but seems well tolerated and well eaten( food is only good if the eat it
) .... and the price IMHO is very good in most places , here roughly 1.33-1.50 a lb vs most grain frees at 2-3.50 $ a lb

You only mention two flavors here... are you open to buying others? Wellness, Natural Balance, Natura, and Nature's Variety all make some really decent canned foods, with quite a range of price points.
I feed my fosters the grain-free varieties of Wellness and Natural Balance.
By the way - a flame point siamese?!! PICS, pretty please!
