Wow, I am shocked that Gardener's Supply Company would sell such a product. This is far from garden supplies, and doesn't have any beneficial garden use, other then creating color in one's garden? I kept checking the sight hoping this was a prank, still hoping.......
Please tell me it is

Gardener's Supply now sells quite a few garden decorations.

It's yard art! Gardener's Supply now carries a lot of "non-essential" gardening stuff. I keep trying to get the husband on board with one of these since they're so low-maintenance, but he's not buying it.

I love anything to do with yard art except a bunch of that plastic stuff such as Flamingos etc. When I lived in a house back in the late '80s and early '90s, the guy across the street had so much plastic from bird baths to flamingos to deer in his yard that it was garish!!

But actual "art" such as this bottle tree is lovely!

Gosh! I was going to ask you if it was a bottle bush because I have lots of those but they are real bushes.

I'm beginning to see those more and more. I personally do not have one. A house in town has a big one in a huge ceramic pot with blue glass bottles and white Xmas lights running through it.

I actually bought that one, but.....

Heavy rains and winds last night knocked the tree over, so the striped one is gone as well as two others.

I loaded up on bottles. I'm all set for a while.

I'm thinking I should bring it in for the winter though. What do all of you think?

I would bring it in for the winter. I bring in my glass topped tables for the winter. I can imagine trapped water freezing and thawing causing damage.

I would definitely bring the bottles in for the winter. Especially with the winter winds and the ice. It would be pretty, though, with the bottles encased in ice.

That's shame about that blue-striped bottle; that thing was gorgeous!

My DH built one to hang our wet things on near the woodstove. It holds gloves, scarves...anything that has got wet outside. It is a bit more substantial since it is made from wood.

Actually, I had seen this bottle tree and showed him the pic. I have also seen them with cobs of corn on them. You would have to drill holes in the corn to fit the dowels.
