She puked last night(not much, a tiny amount of undigested food, partly digested food, and foam) at 2 AM(I was still awake), which was fun to clean since she never stays in one place so one episode has me cleaning several different spots.

I offered them canned food tonight and Attitude barely ate any. Paul said he's seen her at the bowl with the dry food so she has ate some, but I know it's not enough.

She is still herself running and playing, but Nuts is back to trying to bite her(not sure if he has) according to Paul. He seems to only do that now after vet appointments, baths and when Attitude is sick. She is doing everything but she just isn't eating much at all, but she is still eating.

Could she be eating less today because her tummy is upset and can I see how she does tomorrow or does she need to go to the vet tomorrow? I'm locking her in the bathroom with a bowl of food tonight to see if she eats any(I want to see what her consumption is, it's hard to tell with 2 cats.)

Maude died of liver failure so I know what is at stake. I'm just wondering since she is eating if I can see how she does tomorrow before deciding if she needs the vet.

Forgot to add she is not on any antibiotics right now, after 3 months she is finally not on them. The only thing she eat s her food, with 1000mg of lysine added to both bowls(there is also some in their water fountain) and the Missing Link. Also, a few cans if wet food over the week. So nothing new has been added.

She is in the bathroom with a bowl of food and water, a bed and a few toys and obviously a litter box.

I explained to her why she's in there and she seems to have accepted it, she's sleeping in the bed and is just chilling. I also told her not to dump her water bowl since that is the only water she is going to have. So far she hasn't dumped the bowl.

I explained it to Nuts but he seems to not be thrilled with it, he keeps trying to run into the bathroom with her. Now if I were to try to seclude him in the bathroom he'd do everything in his power to get out. I know he misses Attitude, or at least I'm assuming he does. He'll miss her a lot more if she isn't eating and I don't find out.

I could use some eating vibes for Attitude please.

She is too young to be sick all the time. I think I'm back to thinking she might not make it to 2.

She goes to the vet at 3:30, I got her to eat a couple bites of cat chow and didn't use the litter box in the 6-8 hours she was in the bathroom.

My cats develop the biggest bladders while they are locked up! Normally, my older cat will go to the potty 2 or 3 times during the night, but put her in a room with the door closed (to collect a urine specimen) and she'll hold it all night long!

Hope all goes well at the vet. Keep us posted!

They gave her 250 cc of Sub-Q fluids, pepcid and an anti-emetic. I have to call them tomorrow to say how she's doing.

I'm hoping she decides to start eating.

She has also lost 1 lb since her last vet visit(which was sometime in the last month.) She's still a good weight(9.5 lbs) so the vet isn't concerned.

I'm depressed, Paul hates me(yet again) and Attitude wants nothing to do with me.

She has started eating. She's still not eating as much as I think she should but within an hour of returning home she started to eat some Greenies off the floor(I had thrown them down earlier to try and tempt her. Then she ate some of the wet Nuts hadn't ate.

She has also ate a little Cat Chow and some Solid Gold so it appears she is feeling better.

Pepcid is a MIRACLE drug. I think it has saved Attitude from liver failure.

I was so worried her liver was going to fail, after Maude it's hard not to. My heart just dropped when they weighed her and she had lost a pound in less than a month. I thought I was too late, that I didn't notice fast enough and that her liver had already failed. Her not eating and her liver failing is my biggest fear. It scares me more than her leukemia. I know it sounds weird but I have experienced liver failure and not much FeLV. Both are wicked but you can live with FeLV, liver failure is end day, I can't afford to save her from it and with her FeLV it wouldn't be recommended that I try, because it would have the same result. If a FeLV cat gets seriously ill and they have a massive organ fail their systems just can't handle it.

Thank you mrsgreenjeens, stephanietx and otto fore the well wishes, you never know how much it means to me when you reach out and give me well wishes. I understand why others don't, it seems like I'm always having one crisis after crisis with Attitude. I'm sure almost no one even reads what I write anymore.

I can also cheer that little Miss Attitude is now at her GOAL WEIGHT. Now lets see if I can keep little miss piggy that way, LOL.

I hope it was nothing but a huge hairball! I am glad that it wasn't liver failure, I just went through 4 months of that and he is finally getting better just now.

Oh you must feel so relieved that Attitiude has eaten again.

I understand your fears about liver failure. I am the same way, about seizures. I don't think I will breathe a truly easy breath again until Queen Eva passes three years old.

Continuing vibes for Attitude to keep eating and stay eating.

Attitude looks exactly like my Bashful (RIP), who had liver failure years ago, so she holds a special place in my heart. They look so much alike it's uncanny, all the way down to the "slanted black beret" on their heads

for no more issues of any kind for a long, long time!

She just puked again. I had taken up the Cat Chow(I needed to get her to eat so I gave her the Cat Chow for the outside cats yesterday) and she had just ate some Solid Gold and she puked. She does not 'scarf and barf' so it wasn't that and I'm not sure if she threw up everything she ate or not.

I hope she hasn't 'decided' to get food allergies. I already deal with that with my kid, I don't want to deal with it with my cats.

She wasn't throwing up the Cat Chow so I doubt it could possibly be a food allergy since it contains everything and the kitchen sink. She and Nuts have been on SG for months so it's nothing new.

At what point do I have a problem and what should I do about it? Food change or something else. If I change food what should I try? I can't feed her crap. Obviously I will be keeping the vet in the loop but they don't know anything about good foods to feed. I don't want to deal with cleaning up cat puke, not that anybody does. This is what I currently feed http://www.petco.com/product/109059/...tFlink_DryFood

Is Cat Chow regularly on her menu, or a new food for her?
What about Greenies? All my cats have major problems with Greenies... many can't handle it.

If Cat Chow is new, I would remove it.
I would also not change foods right now... Changing her food will further upset her stomach/digestive tract, and that's the least thing you want at the moment.

Does she eat wet food at all? Can you try complementing her diet with wet?

She got the Cat Chow for only one day and that was to make sure she ate, so it was down from Tues. Every cat loves Cat Chow, kitty junk food, so I knew she'd eat it if she felt good enough to eat. yesterday was all about getting her to eat something. I took it away after a day, so today(which is technically yesterday as it is past midnight.) I did give her some greenies but she has never had issues with them before and I actually put down fewer than I normally do and her and Nuts share what I put down.

I haven't given wet today(sorry haven't slept yet and I track days by when I go to sleep and wake up, I used to work nights and that is the only way to do it. When I refer to yesterday I mean Tues and today I mean Weds.) I tried everything I knew yesterday to try and get her to eat. They do get wet a few times a week, they share a small can of food, like a 3 oz can. That is all they can eat together in one sitting.

I'm not going to change foods right now, that would be insanely stupid, but it doesn't do any good if she vomits everything she eats. Like I said I don't know if she threw up everything she ate, I don't think she did since there wasn't much to clean up but her and Nuts are both grazers(they are measured free fed, scheduled feedings don't work the last time I tried Attitude dropped over half a lb in a week and that isn't healthy.)

I just don't know what to do. I guess I'll have to see how she does and see if the puking continues. I didn't call the vet today(Weds) so I'll have to do it tomorrow(Thurs.) I just need to see how she does on her regular diet.

I have to get some sleep. Bobby starts school tomorrow and I have to be up by 7 and he gets released at 10:30 so I have no time to sleep while he's at school. I honestly just need a break, all that's been going on for the last 3 months has stressed me out. Between Attitude being non-stop sick, Bobby going to visit his dad which required a 700 miles round trip to drop him off and pick him up, my ex being an a-hole and refusing to let Bobby visit because his girlfriend hates(and yes I mean hates) kids(Patrick got snipped so they aren't having kids, which is actually a very good thing), Bobby acting up after getting back(not getting to spend the time he wanted to with his dad, and MIL letting him do whatever he wanted) and just a-hole ex in general. His entire family is in an uproar over how he(Patrick) behaved and that he sided with his girlfriend over Bobby visiting. I get to hear everything from my MIL, who currently isn't even speaking to ex over this. Bobby is going to be 8 Sept 25 so he understands all this, he isn't a little kid anymore. He is highly intelligent, I mean he isn't stupid, he gets that his dad is choosing Barbara(girlfriend) over him. MIL and I have both had to explain that it isn't his(Bobby's) fault that his dad(or technically Barbara) wouldn't let him visit that it's Barbara's issue and she is just, well herself, a self-centered person. He has my dad(I live with my parents) and all of Patrick's male relatives(when he's in TX) but they can't replace Patrick, and the fact that he would side with Barbara instead of his son just disgusts me. Too much to take in and process and to deal with all at once.

That is a lot to be dealing with Taryn. Attitude is most likely picking up on your stress, I think she is a very sensitive kitty. Her human's stress can make a cat sick.

Can you get some rescue remedy for her, to help her feel more relaxed, and if possible install a feliway plug in or two?

PS the rescue remedy would be good for you, too.
