My mother in laws nightime visitor

I have just been speaking to my mil on the phone, she thinks she has a slug in her house as for the past few weeks when she has been finding a trail around the dog bowl when she gets up. She's been trying to stay up late and catch it in the act so she can put it outside.
Well last night she got up around 1.30am for a drink and when she went into the kitchen she saw something on the floor which she said looked like a slug but had spikes on!! She said she was absolutely petrified and wondered what on earth it was, she grabbed her shoe and threw it and it landed on the "creature". She then went upto it still petrified with the other shoe ready to hit it if it was something terrible, very slowly lifted the shoe up only to discover that it was the top of a spring onion!!!!

My gosh she has done some daft things in her time but this takes the biscuit Oh and the slug is still there!!x

Oh that is TOO funny!

She should check under her sink, it could be hanging out there.

A lot of us have less than perfect vision. I probably would have mistaken the onion top for something else too without my glasses on.
Years ago my MIL had stepped out into her garage, she ran back into the house screaming about a mouse... it was a toad. A little toad just sitting there on the floor. She also stepped on one of Sho's furry mouse toys years ago and screamed thinking it was a real mouse.

LOL! When you are tired; your mind can play some good tricks on you! Today I almost took a second shower because I forgot I'd already taken one today....

OMgosh, that's hilarious! (But man, I hate slugs. I really don't like slugs.)

I tell you the whole family won't let her live it down Especially her hubby who kept the spring onion top and keeps teasing her with it x
