Oldie pee on couch and outside box

After I learn from this forum by putting the leaves and barks which were picked from my yard to put into the litter box. Oldie starts using the litter box. (Oldie is a stray with FIV) But he pee a a big volume, and the litter was stick on his paws. He and I do not like it. It makes a mess on the floor. May be because of this, he starts to pee on the couch and floor again.

1. Please advise me what kind of solution I can wipe his paws to disinfect and clean?
2. What kind of litter that will clump and will not stick on his paws?
3. Which nok-out to order? Odor Eliminator & Sanitizer or Broad Spectrum Disinfectant Nok-Out?
4. I have a hard time to get Oldie into the kennel visiting the vet. Where can I buy the Feliway? I also learn Feliway from this forum.

Thank you for everyone of you here. I learn a lot in this forum within these two weeks.

Did you already take your cat to the vet to make sure he doesn't have an UTI?
Are you in the US?
I am very successful with Dr. Elsey's litter, and if you are having litterbox problems, I HIGHLY recommend Cat Attract Litter (by Dr Elsey's) - never had a problem with sticking on the paws.

Make sure your littebox is big enough for the cat - it should be about 1 1/2 times his length. Also, please have two litterboxes available for him.

Here is where I get my Feliway - I use one in the living room, and one in the bedroom, which are the rooms they spend the most amount of time.

Him peeing out of the box might mean he is sick. How old is he? Is he neutered?

To get him to get in the carrier try putting food & cat nip in it. Also leave out and open all the time, he will get used to it.

He really needs to be seen by the vet, can you get him in a small room and shut the door? Then it should be easier to get him in the carrier.

You can buy Feliway at Petsmart, Petco, online, and at most pet stores.

Thank you for your help!

I think he did not like the litter which stick on to his paws. I changed to the Swheat Multi Cat. But it did not clump good. He went into the litter box a lot better now. But he stiil once a while pee at the corner or on the top of the ventilation. I changed it to Dr. Elyse's Attract Cat Litter, but he still does it once a while on the top of the ventilation. Now I have to use a gate to block him come out to pee on the carpet.

He was an outside cat. But he is inside now. I have a cover deck at the backyard. He still like to goes on the deck to enjoy the nature. he will stay on the deck. I put a litter box on the deck with Attract Cat litter, but he will not use it. He will go down to the yard to do his business. It is the same litter box I put inside the house with the Attract Cat Litter. SIGH!!!

I just bought the Dr. Elyse's Precious Multi-Cat. I like this the best. I already bought the jumbo petmate litter box. But I think it is still too small for him. I saw him jumping out from the box after he poo and pee by avoiding to step on the dirty litter.

Since Oldie was in the hospital for 12 to 13 days. I asked the vet about his kidney. He told me that he is fine. But he still drinks a lot of water, and take him long time to pee.
