WONDERFULL! Stuff
Hubby had to go in cat room to go open garage door and and told me it smelled alot less then the clumping fresh step/scoop away have used in past. the cats stopped using the arm hammer essentials natural litter. Only time the litter smels is when I clean it as I dump the litter througha sifting litter box and there is pee stuck to bottom I use a baby wipe to clean it off.

The arm hammer double duty is ok but i cant get used to the smell of it and dont seem to think its that much better.

The carefresh and clay non scoop is also VERY good but not liked much. Got the kittens going in this week so will get it used with them a bit

So looks like next round is to start buying all the senior litter...Will need to talk to petsmart about ordering enough in tho lol

Isn't it amazing how finding a litter you and your cats like can really make your year!

My boy did not care for the Elsey senior, but loves the Cat Attract. I'm just glad that Dr. Elsey developed his entire line of litter.

With the numbers I have I feel like I won the lottery finding something thats lighter and taken by all that still contains the odor

What you may not realize is that Dr. Elsey is mostly retired right now. So yay, he got a full product line out before he stopped his practice.

(his wife is terminally ill and he is spending all of his time with her right now)

Its 15.39 at petsmart for 8lbs but its alot. Fills up a rubber maid tote enough or 2 hooded sized litter boxes. the senior is finer and the long haired is a bit bigger mine prefer the senior

I vastly prefer the Dr. Elsey's Precious Cat scoopable to ANYTHING else on the market re: clay litter. There is a place here that sells the "single cat" for $9.99 for 40 lbs and the multi cat for $10.99/40lbs. When I see it there I stock up. My guys have never been fussy about what they are digging in, but the the Dr. E's throws up less dust, clumps really well and if you use enough for the cats to really bury it, handles the smell just fine w/o stinky perfume, which gives ME a headache.

Many prayers for Dr. Elsey' wife, and the whole family. I'm firmly convinced that his litter has saved many cats' lives over the years - I would like to think a lot of kitties would like to send their own purrs to his family.
