Some posted some months ago that they had become addicted to those hidden object computer games. I decided to check one out and well, now I'm addicted!

I would like to be able to take them with me and be able to play them when waiting instead of reading old magazines.

My question is, what type of gizmo do I need to buy in order to be able to play these games other than on my desk top computer?

Here is an example of a game I'm talking about.

According to some sources from Big Fish/Big Sea, some of those games will be available for smart phones, iPad, etc sometime after September first when they shut down Big Sea. I don't see why a regular laptop wouldnt work. Right now, I am rather disgruntled with Big Fish as they are closing down my fun.

Thanks. I knew about a laptop, but I don't need a laptop. I was thinking about something small and relatively light (like a palm pilot) that I could put inside my purse and carry with me.

So it seems that you can't play these games on anything other than a laptop or desktop?

Shame

I am a gaming addict, I love the strategy games or time rush games, I'm currently playing Super ranch, I love farm type games and they are so addictive. The only thing I could think of is a DS also and download them onto a card, you can buy them and put games on yourself.x

I'd recommend a DS as well (i.e., unless you're asking specifically for the exact games you're playing online right now). It's handheld, and there are myriad games available, including hidden object games. It's a great thing to have when commuting or traveling.

a lot of games are available for smart phones - but i think the hidden object ones would be really hard - smart phones have really small screens! now, an iPad might work, if the games you want are available in mac format [not all are].

Yes, I have several of those Hidden Object Games that I've purchased and I would like to be able to put them onto something and take them with me to play. I do not want or need a laptop computer because I use my desktop at home and I don't want to lug around a laptop in order to play a computer game. I was wanting something that was small enough to fit into my purse, maybe the size of a palm pilot, that I could pull out when I wanted something to do while waiting.
