Oooooooh, Friday the 13th!

Anyone superstitious?

I am off to work in a bit, it is going to be a hot one today, and sunny.

Also, it is payday for me. My 10 hours of overtime will be on the next pay though. Plus we have another CAT claim in Pincher Creel for hail so the next week should be busy.

This weekend we are relaxing mostly, laundry, cleaning and Josh needs some new clothes for work.

Morning!. It's been raining all morning here, so unless the gardener loves getting wet i doubt he'll have been this morning.

Leave work in just over and hour and i think i may have to put the heating on. Off to my great niece Millie's 3rd birthday party tomorrow so i'm looking forward to that. Any excuse for the adults to have a drink really

Morning and TGIF! It's been a long week.

DH is on his way to Vegas for union work and I'm spending some time by myself. I'm leaving at noon to take some vacation time; I have to visit with my elderly aunt. Then tonight my sister and I are cleaning my aunt's apartment, followed by a late dinner, just the two of us. That will be nice.

Weekend will be spent doing cleaning and laundry....and that's OK with me.

Its Payday woohoo..Its a good check week along with another check from BFs work for the paint job he did on his own time. Woohooie!! Im trying to find a store that sells Kitty City towers so I can replace the one that GiGi has destroyed by sleeping on the top of it. Im waiting for it to crash down and her land on top of Fatman who sleeps on the bottom. It hopefully is going to be a good day today!

Not much going on here. Waiting for my daughter and her two girls to come over and play. Its humid again and I'm so tired of it. Also waiting for the furnace people to call as we need new bearings put in as it makes a horrible squeeling noise when its running. Our house is up for sale and we need it done fast.

Been AWOL last couple of days.

Terrible hot humid weather this week. Plus Wed we had 1 1/4 inch of rain in 3 hours and we are in a severe T-storm watch which should be coming my way in the next hour or two.

I was going to do landscaping this am but with the high dewpoint/humid and now that the t-storm will be this morning instead of later today well I'm not!

I have the windows open and fans to capture this cooler air despite the humidity as when this front passes its really going to heat up.

So nothing major today-reading a book might do some organizing in the basement.

Tomorrow try it get to farmers market and maybe outlet shopping?
Sunday I bought VIP tickets to the Tall Ship festival in Green Bay. The weather is supposed to be more normal by that time.

Been taking down curtains in my home and washing, ironing them and rehanging. Doing that today. Too hot here to do anything outside, so just staying in and trying to stay cool. We have a friend who cuts my hubby's hair in exchange for fish he catches. Yesterday we went over there. She had prepared pancakes, sausage, fresh fruit to serve us for breakfast before the haircut. While they were doing that, her hubby and myself played music and sang. It was an enjoyable morning.

Payday here too! Woot!

Foster kitty Watson is being adopted today so we're bringing him in to his new mommy after work.

Then have to get some groceries. Tonight I think we're going to go for a drive and watch the meteor shower. Not a whole lot of plans for the rest of the weekend. We'll be puppy sitting my aunt's 2 beagles who we ADORE!

Good Afternoon.

Jr slept in again. He woke early missing his binkie but crashed for another 3 hours after I found it for him. He was just outside running around enjoying the fresh air. It might not be a 3 hour nap day with the windows opened but I needed the fresh air.

I just read on FB about a home invasion just up the street last night. Five gunman tied up the family and raided the house. I am a little freaked out b/c they are still on the run.

I am sure DH wants to BBQ tomorrow with the nice weather. Nothing else is planned but I think he has school work.

I'm not sure if we're talking about the same storm or not, but a very intense thunderstrom dumped about 3 inches of rain on us last night, and some places got about 4 inches. Apparently there's also a lot of damage caused by straight line winds. And to add to the good news, there's even more rain on the way this afternoon. So get ready, it might be a really wild day!!!

Happy Friday the 13th everyone. Today I'm doing laundry as we speak and will clean out my Keurig coffee maker with the vinegar solution, it keeps the machine working well and coffee tasting great. Doing a couple more chores around the house and then sitting down to continue to read my latest Jodi Picoult book. Tonight out to dinner with Russ and friends, have a nice weekend all.
