Arm & Hammer Double Duty Litter Question

I have seen commercials and ads for this litter...and I was wondering if anyone has tried it? My husband and I want to get some this weekend because our house always smells like litter I scoop twice a day, and we clean and replace litter each weekend, but I am trying to find something that helps bc all our hard work still is not working to get the old litter smell away!
Thanks for any info, if anyone has tried this....or has a litter that they love and would recommend.

Going to petsmart in a bit and am planning to pick it up was using mainly fresh step then branched out to some others due to killer deals/coupons. I am not sure if it will do much far as the amount of cats I have but worth a shot to see.

We have 8 cats and are caring for a couple strays at the moment...so my concern was that with the volume of cats it wouldn't do much, but I am hoping it helps. Let me know what you think of it!

I use regular A&H multi-cat/scoopable litter. It seems to do an OK job, but I've never bought the Double Duty as it is more $$ (I've picked up my litter on a really good sale). I'm also curious as to how well it works.

got a box. smells very strange. not flowery or anything. Was 12 for 28lb box(had 3 off coupon so that was good) Filled it up for main part of house and redid the old one(soap, bleach) so see what hubby says and what ones they use. So far no takers tho the dog sniffed it?

I bought this over the weekend...and so far, I LOVE it. We usually use Tidy Cats....and each weekend bleach out the boxes because they smell. If a cat doesn't fully cover a poop it smells bad. We scoop each day sometimes twice a day.
I put this in two of our boxes, one thats in the laundry room by the front door, and one that is in the guest room (or Cat room..) and so far, results are good. Lately the guest room has been smelling like a cat room, just kinda musty and gross. I clean the carpets a couple times a week, scoop twice a day open windows, clean everything but the box makes it smell. I walked in today to no smell. The box in our laundry room had poop sitting right on top...and it didn't smell at all. Both boxes had good amounts of messes in them and smelled so much better than normal.
As of now I like it, but it is still new so I will see how it is at the end of the week!!

You might want to try Cedar Fresh. made by the people who make Fresh Aire. Found at PetSmart. Formulated for multiple Cats. I recently switched to Fresh Aire for my 2 cats and have been duly impressed. Chemical Free, great odor control, lightweight, clumps very well....

I just bought that kind about a week ago, and I'm not overly impressed. I can still smell the poop, and I think the litter itself smells pretty strange. It does clump pretty tightly, so that's a good thing.

I've been using Arm & Hammer for years. Only one cat, but no smell.

If I happen to be in the same room and he just poops, I can smell it then.

But that's the only time.
