Good morning folks...

I was having a discussion w a friend about random acts of kindness. More and more ppl are choosing to participate in events that involve RAOK (ex. local to me, a young lady passed away a few yrs back and her parents created ROAK in Nicole's memory...each yr they do something x her age... This year her mom handed out 33 white roses to strangers walking down the street).

The whole principal of ROAK is kindness, plain and simple kindness.

Which leads me into this topic for todays question (and also a new and hopefully popular thread):

What was the last random act of kindness you did?

I gave my neighbor, mom's coworker some skincare products I wasn't using.

This is also sorta a RAOK. I saw my friends post about expenses and money being tight so I explained how I get some great deals at a local drug store they use a lot. Hopefully they can put the knowledge to good use.

had 2 cats fixed for someone i met on craigslist 2 months ago or so. She said she was struggling to get it done and was trying to rehome as she had just rehomed the kittens. dropped them back off to her with a bit
of cat food to help.

I had just finished reading the bestseller "Three Cups of Tea" when the Pakistan floods hit. Believing in the lyrics of "Imagine", I went to my mad money drawer and wrote out a check for that amount to the Pakistan relief fund. Very random.

There's no place like home
I hired an out-of-work electrician to do work on my house, including installing 220 wiring in my garage. The wire was very expensive copper and there was quite a bit left on the roll that I paid for. I gave it to him for his next job to save him a bit of money. This was last week.

RAOK is easy these days. There are a lot of people hurting out there.

I ot my neighbours low cost vouchers to have their cats spayed as they helped me out by taking Harvey to the vets to have him nuetured, I also bought her a teddy and a beautiful card to wish her luck as she ha sjust gone through having IVF. I don't really see this as an act of kindness though just what I am like.xx
