This is a real surprise to me. This cat had most of all four legs amputated, and still appears to be pretty happy.

That was really interesting....
a lot of love went into taking care of that kitty.

A retired, stay at home "youngish senior couple" might be the ideal caregivers for this sweetie.

I feel terrible at first seeing her condition but she looks so healthy and very lively too! Such inspiring story..

Susan, I don't even bother reading comments on YouTube anymore. People are just complete retards sometimes!

I wonder if she prefers to be on carpet or tile? Carpet, I would think.

To tell the truth, I couldn't bear to look. I am glad someone is loving her and taking good care of her.

What a sweet girl! I'm glad someone was there to save her, I know lots of places would have just killed her. I hope she finds an amazing home!

I have to wonder though, will she get sores on the bottom of her legs, from not having paws? I wonder how that works...

I have mixed feelings on this one because many years ago (nearly 30 now) some evil SOB cut the back legs off a little kitten. Poor little mite was only about 8 weeks old. It happened not too far from the village I lived in.

I applied immediately I read about the kitten in the newspapers to adopt him - we could have given him the special care he needed, but sadly, he died (or was helped on his way) when the vet was tidying up the stumps.

To this day, no-one was ever prosecuted or caught - at least not legally but rumour had it that a local Martial Arts teacher had a good idea who did this evil thing and, well, shall we say, that person learned the errors of his ways.

I wonder if the vet who gave the other cat two new back legs over here in the UK might see this lovely cat and help her?

I'm sure if he could, people round the world would club together to pay for treatment and after-care.

wow, and i was amazed by the video on youtube of oscar. this is horrible, but i am glad she's getting on okay. i don't understand when people [in the comments on youtube] say that she shouldn't have been saved. why not? she obviously has the will to fight through her disability, and doesn't look to be in horrible pain or unhappy.
