to pick up a little foster, Tasha, a calico kitten who isn't doing well. I'm going to take her directly to the vet.

She's just not doing well. She's been tested for most of the ugly stuff, but not for giardia, which is my personal bet.

And here she is!

I took her to the vet right away (we always do, if we can). She couldn't find any real problems with her, but we'll treat her for giardia just in case.

I think I may have already found why she's not gaining wait. The vet gave her a soft treat, and she gobbled it down like she was starving. They brought in about 1/2 can of soft food, and she wolfed down quite a bit of it.

I'm thinking she doesn't like hard food.

You are a great guy, Mike! Strange, but somebody said to me the other day "I thought men didn't like cats." Where do people come up with this
?

Tasha is sooo adorable
She reminds me of my RB kitty AmyRose
Sending mega prayers that Tasha regains good health and is blessed to find her happy, forever earthly home

I just noticed this morning her upper right canine tooth is missing. Also, her tail seems very long for her age. I wonder if she's older than she looks?

She's adorable and I'm sure she's going to flourish under your care. Bless you for taking her to the vet and caring for her.
